Fabrice,

Did you ever consider the Tesla Roadster. Looks a little small but definately environmentally friendly with amazing performance.

Mike:

I learned to fly and was very good at it (soloed after 6 hours of flight time), but I found it extremely boring. I cannot conceive of flying myself for hours on end anywhere. When I can comfortably afford it, I will use Netjets or something like that.

Do the VLJs have the range to go to the Dominican Republic or even Miami non-stop from NY?

Fabrice,

You are an adventurous guy, I am surprised you are not opting for a VLJ to fly down to Aruba for the Kite Surfing :-)

Lol I am not sure I could drive every day this way and not end up looking like the hunchback for Notre Dame ;)

As for Jeremy, he might just have long legs...

I don't get it... Jeremy Clarkson is 6'5" and he fit into it okay... and seemed like he's got plenty of room. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mJM03Uk9U0I Perhaps he's got a really short neck...

Another idea is to adjust your driving posture... I've heard that the "Gangsta Lean" gives you the few extra crucial inches you need to fit in the car. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gangsta_Lean) =)
