I also enjoyed the fact that he had no real reason for doing something so audacious except to relish in the pleasure of doing what has never been done before and doing it well. Felt a lot like a story of starting a business: a visionary, crazy idea, high risk, mood swings, a wild team, betrayal, etc., -- except it was illegal and had no business model (ok, maybe like a Web 2.0 business).
