They didn't set out to impress the Fabrice Grindas of the world, so I don't think it's quite fair to judge them in the context of the graphics arms race. I totally agree, and am glad you mentioned that the Wii controller with a HD system would be killer. If the Wii had better graphics, I would have bought one for sure. I find the wii really refreshing in a market dedicated to better graphics, speed and number of polygons while forgeting for the most part what is the most important in a game (in my mind) GamePlay. Look at what you used to love in game in the past ... Graphics were not the main attraction ... Gameplay was. I think the wii is really focusing on this aspect. it focuses on entertaining people in a new way. They bring console games to the female population ... I really think it's a really smart move and while you're banking on the xbox, I put my dollars on the wii !! But what do I know ... I only play chess. Glad you’re back on your blog.
